Language courses with a guide

Learn a language.
Pass the exam.

Every language has its own site and its own guide: grammar lessons in colour, word lists read aloud and exam practice, in sync with the Lingotivo app for iPhone. One account works on all of them.

Grammar A1–B1

Grammar that explains itself.

Every course teaches its grammar in short lessons you page through, with sentences you can listen to and exercises at the end — from the alphabet to B1.

Drills that explain

Practice that tells you why.

Short drills after each lesson: one try per question, then you see why the answer is right.

Exercises in every lesson

Lingotivo grammar drill on iPhone: 'der, die oder das?' asks for the article of Wohnung (flat, apartment) with three colour-coded answer buttons.

Hmm … der, die oder das?Hmm… der, die or das?

Word lists A1–B1

Every article in its colour

Every word with its article, pronunciation and an example sentence, read aloud, and its meaning in your language. Lessons and word cards show each article in its colour, so you learn a noun’s gender with the word.

der Schlüsseldie Straßedas Bettdie Bücher

Der Schlüssel, die Straße, das Bett. The key, the street, the bed.

Mock exams

Practise for the real exam.

Practice tests in the real format with all four parts — reading, listening, writing and speaking — for the exams people really take, on the web and in the app.
